The Randoms

Art is free, it's a way to connect and express things in a way you want too. It's a way of finding yourself and knowing your wants and needs as your mind goes wild with imagination as it travels miles and miles away and to the realms which you only can go and settle for a while to gather yourself and think of the what if's that is impossible and might be possible.

With the power of you hands that is fueled with your thought and the passion that drives you, you can do almost everything.

When I day dream it's because I need a break or it just happens, I space out and things goes in my head like what my coffee mug would tell me if I was stressed out, how cats can be aliens, how my lover would look like eating cake while he blabbers about his day at work. There is no limit to things I can think of, so I pick up my pencil and start sketching till I am contented of how it would look like and I would laugh. Those printed photo's that we use to keep in an album before is pretty much gone, memories are in memory cards or computer files. I miss the feeling of having something and keeping it where you can get back and look at them and knowing for sure that it won't be deleted or taken away. It's much more precious to keep things that you know would be there in time; any time. I know, I save things in files like most of these generations do, but I would know something was special when I sketch it up, the idea of originality now a days is valued but then at times hard to let go if someone wants to claim it to sell and be bought, which is sad when it comes to the design business. Your own design that you worked on for hours that you are willing to give in return for money. I have been there and I felt robbed and it was sad too because its convenient but that's where sketches get useful, you still have the identity of the idea that you made and you know it was yours. My randoms are mine, I built it and I kept it, even if it was in a scratch paper.

The Randoms in my life are important, be it a person or my art, they are the ones that keeps my mind wondering of possibilities, the fun and fantasy side of life. So if you are keeping small things that reminds you of big things, keep it. It is your own Random that happened once that you can't never replace, the thought of that one moment in your wonderful life.
